Accommodation for students enrolled in day classes
Applications must be done before May 26th (for Semester 1 of the academic year 2023-24)

A. Accommodation in student's halls (public section)

You have the possibility to apply for a room in a university residence. University residences are located on (or nearby) the university campus.

Access conditions
  • You must be enrolled for day classes and have paid all enrolment fees due.
  • You may place a request for accommodation in university residences with the DEFLE department intermediary only if you are studying in Bordeaux for the first time.

The number of rooms in university residences is limited. Don’t wait !

Only after sending your documents to the DEFLE accommodation service, you will receive an e-mail with further instructions so that you can sign up to the CROUS student services portal.

Send this form completed before May 26th by e-mail

The CROUS response will be communicated from July 11th.

Please note that this is an an application (not a booking).

If ever your accommodation request is unsuccessful, you may choose from the available private sector accommodation.

 B. Private sector accommodation

You can apply for host family accommodation through the DEFLE. You will be given the contact details of the family you have chosen, once we will have received your complete file. Please note that your request is subject to availability.

We have a range of accommodation available in host families.

 

How to apply for a room / studio with the DEFLE accommodation service?

   1.Fill out the accomodation application form for day classes.

   2.Add the following documents :

   3.Send all these documents (PDF) to the Accomodation service : defle@u-bordeaux-montaigne.fr (logement.defle @ u-bordeaux-montaigne.fr)

  • before May 26th 2023 for the 1st semester (September to December) OR for the whole year.
  • before November 13th 2023 for the 2nd semester (January to May 2024).

 

At your arrival, you will have to give a copy of your ID card or passport.
