Summer classes

Organisation :

The DEFLE department offers an intensive course of French as a Foreign Language. This is held each year in July and is open to all levels for people who are 18 years old at least.

Teaching includes 80 hours of classes, across 4 weeks (with the option of enrolling for 1, 2 or 3 weeks),that is 20 hours a week.

These courses deliver an attendance certificate.

Class content :

Teaching groups are organised according to level and ability. Teaching is oriented around the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

In all classes, students develop their key skills in listening comprehension, oral, reading comprehension and writing.

Assessment :

Students are assessed by continuous assessment.

Cultural activities :

A range of cultural activities and excursions is also offered to students. These activities are fee-paying and are subject to a sufficient number of participants.

These excursions require a prior registration and will be subject to availability.

  • tour of Bordeaux
  • tour of Arcachon
  • visit to Dune of Pilat
  • visit of Aquitaine Museum
  • introduction to wine tasting.

Guideline price: approximately  from 0.00€ and 40€ per excursion, to be paid on the site
